James W. Price, M.D., F.A.A.O.S., F.A.C.S.

Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr. Price attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. He was awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. He was also President of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. He received highest honors as a Summa Cum Laude Graduate. He continued his education at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, where he received his M.D. degree.

After attending medical school, Dr. Price completed his surgical internship in 1981 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and he went on to complete a second year of general surgical residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, in 1982. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency/fellowship at The Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1985. He has been practicing in Dublin, Georgia, at Dublin Orthopaedics since 1986. He is also a consultant at Mercer Engineering Research Center.

Dr. Price is an avid hunter, who enjoys annual trips to Colorado to hunt elk and mule deer. He is an Instrument Rated Pilot and also enjoys snow skiing, kayaking, and scuba diving. He is a member of Dudley Baptist Church in Dudley, Georgia, where he is active in foreign and domestic missions. He is a Medical Board member of Heaven Sent Ministries and has also worked with other ministries to organize overseas medical and surgical missions.

Dr. James D. Peters, D.O., F.A.A.O.S.

Dr. Peters attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri graduating in 1978 with a degree in Microbiology. He continued his education at The University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri receiving his D.O. degree in 1984.

Upon completion of his medical training, his internship was at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO. After a year of active duty with the US Army in Korea, he returned to Fitzsimons Army Medical Center completing his orthopaedic residency in 1990.

Dr. Peters finished his military obligation in Ft. Benning, GA in 1993. He and his family (Ellen, Tanner, and Carter) have resided in Dublin, GA since 1993.

Family time with occasional outdoor activity such as hunting and land management occupy Dr. Peters "off duty" time.

The Peters Family are members of Pine Forest Methodist Church of Dublin. Tanner and Carter are "busy" with school and sports activities in the Laurens County recreational and school systems.

Ellen "manages" the schedules of the "3 boys" and still finds time for a variety of volunteer activities in Laurens County.
